We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe has been used in breach of these terms, for fraudulent purposes, or in a manner that may harm Co Bees or other customers.
We sell raw and artisan honey and related food products. All honey sold by Co Bees is produced in the United Kingdom and is subject to the following:
Our honey is produced in an environment that may be in proximity to other natural substances including pollen. Individuals with known allergies to bee products, pollen, or related substances should seek medical advice before consuming our products.
Full ingredient and allergen information is provided on product labels and, where available, on the product page of the Website. It is your responsibility to check allergen information before ordering. If you have a severe allergy or specific dietary requirement, please contact us before placing an order.
When you place an order through the Website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the stated price. A legally binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where a product has been listed at an incorrect price due to error, or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud.
You must be aged 18 or over to purchase from the Website.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. Payment is processed securely via Stripe and is taken at the time of order.
If we discover a pricing error after your order has been placed, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.
🇬🇧 UK delivery only. We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
We aim to dispatch orders within [X] working days of receiving payment. Estimated delivery timescales are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, please see Section 9 (Faulty or Damaged Goods) below.
In summary: You may return sealed, undamaged goods within 14 days of delivery, provided the tamper-evident seal is fully intact and shows no signs of tampering or damage. Opened or unsealed honey cannot be returned for hygiene and food safety reasons.
Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us by email at support@cobees.co.uk before the 14-day period expires.
Food and hygiene exemption
In accordance with Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. We will only accept returns of honey and food products where:
If the tamper seal is broken or shows signs of damage, we cannot accept the return.
Refunds
Where a valid return is accepted, we will refund the price paid for the product, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds will be made to the original payment method. Return postage costs are your responsibility unless the goods are faulty.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose:
If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Your statutory rights are not affected by any other provision of these terms.
Our products comply with applicable food safety regulations including the Food Safety Act 1990 and the Food Information for Consumers Regulations 2014. Store honey in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Best-before information is shown on the label. Crystallised honey is safe to consume and can be gently warmed in warm water to return it to a liquid state.
All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Co Bees or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to this, our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on the Website. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to our collection and use of your personal data as described therein.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
